8/5/16- Future Game Report

5-foot-11, 170-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room for future development. Defensively, pop times of 1.97-2.06, arm was clocked at 78 mph. The arm is clean, path is slightly longer, has some wrap with it behind his head, shows to have good carry and flight. Received well in games, at times flips glove to stay loose with receiving hand, needs to make sure he's on time with flip and does not get caught in between.  At the plate, hits from the right side, the stance is balanced, hands are loose at shoulder height and uses a very minimal stride. The path is level to up with a one handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 85, has whip to the barrel. Ran a 7.33 60 yard dash and  was a 4.4 on a ground ball to second. In game swings were good, was 3-8, with 2 doubles.

7/12/16
6-foot, 170-pound, extremely athletic frame, shoulders arm sloped, arms are long, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed hitter, athleticism is his best tool. Behind the plate, the setup is wide and balanced, the hands and feet work well together in the transfer. The feet are quick and the right foot replaces the left foot. The hands are loose when receiving, could quiet them down slightly on the catch, but they do work well. The arm is clean and easy, path gets a little long when he tries to get more on throw. Pop times were 2.0-2.06, clocked at 73 mph, throws were on the bag and downhill. Offensively, hits from the right side, the stance is tall, even and balanced throughout. The hands are even with shoulders, path is level to up with a one handed finish. Stays inside the baseball well, approach is middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was 83 mph, with more in there as he gets stronger. In game swings were good, not much to show for them, ran a 4.53 down the line. Will be attending the future games in 2016

3/1/16
5-foot-11, 166-pound athletic frame, wrists, forearms and the lower half is strong and he has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting catcher, the stance is slightly open and gets back to even, gains ground with his stride. The hands are loose, with a little movement, bat angle is up and down. The path is down-level-up and has a one-handed finish. Drove the ball back through the middle, shows gap power, the tee exit velocity was 81 mph, with a ton more in there. Behind the dish, is extremely athletic and very flexible. The setup is low to the ground, gets behind the ball well. The feet work well, right foot replaces left and gets inline to target with transfer, from the crouch threw 72 mph with carry to it. The arm path is clean, over rotates, arm gets behind his back, needs to cut down a little. Committed to the future games, much more on this kid.

12/12/15
At 5-foot-11, 166-pounds the frame is very athletic, flexible, legs are strong and upper body has plenty of room to add weight. At the plate, he hits with a slightly open stance, back elbow is high and back angle is up and down. The hands show to be loose and strong, could get hands and weight back a little more. The path to the ball is flat and level through the zone, uses a one handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 80 mph and ran a quick 7.03 60-yard dash for a catcher. Behind the dish, the setup is wide and balanced and he seems to be very relaxed back there. The feet are very good, right foot replaces left foot, showed very good arm strength at 78 mph. Times down to second were 1.94 to 2.06. Could close down the front side, gets weak, needs to be a bit firmer. The athletic ability and arm strength are advanced, needs to play a ton, should hit enough, definite guy to get on.
