10.28.17

5-foot-11, 165-pound, average athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, shows to have good strength in his hands and wrists. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed extremely well on both sides of the field. The feet and hands are extremely quick, uses a quick to transfer the baseball, arm works out of a ¾ slot, gets a tick long on the backside with arm swing. Pop times were good at 2.06-2.13 and arm was clocked at 71 mph, arm is fluid has more in the tank with strength. During game play received very well, and anticipates extremely well with dirt balls, gets around the baseball well. At the plate, the stance is slighty open, hands start at shoulder height with the bat starting in a relaxed tilted position. The hands have separation from the body, uses a minimal stride, swing is down to level to up, its fluid and works with ease. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, has a ton left in there. Collected a hit in game play, ran the sixty yard dash in 7.34, runs ok for a catcher. Interesting prospect, overall strength is a must.

Exit Velocity-84 MPH

Sixty-Yard Dash- 7.34 MPH

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher who put on a solid display at the workout. Solid defender behind the dish, the receiving is a trending in the right direction, glove and hands are soft. Threw 73 mph from behind the dish with a pop time of 2.0. Ran a 4.21 down the line on his dig to first, so as you can see he is a good athlete. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. Hits out of an even footed setup, there is no load/separation to initiate the swing. The path is up and over, needs to be flattened as the barrel goes through the zone. The bottom half of the swing is under control.
Tee Exit Velocity- 84 mph
Catching Velocity- 73 mph
Pop time- 2.0
