6-foot, 170-pound, average athletic frame. The movements and actions are smooth, shoulders are sloped with plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting catcher, the top tool is his bat. Showed to have an advanced approach, did a good job keeping his hands inside the baseball and driving it to all fields. The stance is even, is taller in the box, and hands are held slightly higher than shoulder width. For timing uses a small controlled leg lift, hands have separation from the body, stride is straight and lands soft. The swing is level to up, has a good finish, made good hard contact in game play. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph and ran a 4.81 from home to first. Defensively, the arm works out of a higher slot, clocked at 73 mph, has some strength to it, gets a little long on the backside, could shorten it. The pop time was 2.19-2.30. The right foot replaced the left foot, gained ground, glided through the transfer. The throws showed to have good touch, received well, hands have strength to them. Definite follow for next year, has some athletic ability, with knowledge behind the plate.
