10/24/17- The Florida State recruit sat 89-92 mph early, settling in at 89-90, with finish to his fastball. It comes out of his hand well and gets on hitters quickly, causing a lot of swings and misses. He also has a wipeout slider at 77-80 mph and flashed a breaking ball with more depth at 76 mph.
10/15/17- Florida State recruit. Lean, projectable frame that has continued to fill out, most noticeably in his lower half recently. He throws from a very clean. short , high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 88-91 mph, touching 93 with downhill life and command down in the zone to both sides of the plate. Also mixed in a 75-79 mph curveball with depth and a feel for a 79-80 mph changeup. Anderson shows plus feel to pitch and dominated quality hitters for three innings. He is calm and composed on the mound, the arm action works and has more room to grow. The above average to plus pitchability coupled with the high ceiling made him one of the most interesting players on the weekend.
