5/23/19

Greene will end his prep career as the top ranked player in Florida. The left-handed hitter is only one of two prospects in our Top-10 to spend his entire high school career as a top-10 prospects in state (from first rankings to last rankings). Greene’s bat is, and always will be, his calling card and he has never disappointed with it. At 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, Greene possesses an athletic build with strong throughout. His advanced bat will no doubt be the reason why he sees his name called in the Top-10 of the upcoming 2019 MLB Draft

10/12/18

Florida commit. 6-foot-3, 190-pound left-handed outfielder, lean, athletic build, continues to physically fill out. Offensively once of the most advanced bats in the 2019 class. Loose, whip like barrel, effortless through zone, stays on plane, has natural loft. Easy raw power to the pull-side, has ability to hit gap-to-gap, remains balanced and repeats, hit numerous balls over the right field wall during batting practice. Translated in-game by ripping a line drive down the right field line for a triple in his very first at-bat.

8/09/18

In his first at-bat, he squared up an 89 mph fastball with a 98 mph exit velocity on a sacrifice fly. He added another RBI in his second at-bat with a single over shortstop that was 103 off the bat. He squared up another single at 97 off the bat in his third, shooting a ball back up the middle, just left of second base. In his last at-bat, he chopped a groundball through the right side for another RBI single. He’s limited to a corner outfield spot, putting more pressure on his offensive future, but his loose swing and quick hands make him a potential impact bat from the left side.

3/26/18

The wiry-athletic, 6-foot-3, 190-pound Florida recruit has quick hands, and his loose finish allows for the ball to scream off the bat, usually with backspin into a gap. Greene’s frame is athletic without being bulky, and his elasticity helps him to create leverage on an uphill plane while allowing his barrel to spend a long time in the zone. He has continued to produce while in the national spotlight at major events, and appears to developing even more power. He is one of the top hitters in the 2019 class.

10/15/17

Florida recruit. One of the top 2019s, he shows why with what he can do with the bat. Turns the barrel well and connects the lower and upper half well. Long levers, he stays short and has plus power potential. Solid defender, but the bat should play with enough power if he needs to go to a corner.

9/23/15- Committed to University of Florida

1/17/15 Florida Preseason ID Showcase - Tall loose lean very young projectable body. Has a very good hitting approach with good rhythm and timing. Loose bat with quickness in hands. Very good extension through the ball. Good hand eye with good hitters hands. Some loft in swing with good leverage. Can drive ball for a young kid. Surprising power for his age. Exit bat speed was 80 mph. Athletic actions with softness in hands at 1B. Loose easy throwing arm. Threw 71 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.7 60 yard dash. On the mound, he had a loose easy working arm with a ¾ slot. Very projectable. FB was 72-74 mph with a lot of life. CV was a ¾ breaker at 59-60 mph. Threw a lot of strikes. Overall game will improve with physical maturity. Hard to believe this kid is only in Middle School. He is a baseball player with a lot of upside. Will be fun to watch.
