5/28/16- Clemson commit who stands at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds with a tall, long, lean, athletic, and projectable body. He will likely be ranked in the top 30 in the final release of the 2016 rankings. He had an excellent senior season and had a very good outing at FACA to give scouts a solid final look heading into next week’s draft. He was filling up the zone with three pitches. His fastball was 89-92, his changeup was 79-82 mph with the same arm speed as his fastball, and his curveball was 75-79 mph with depth and it broke two planes. Look for his velocity and stuff to improve with age, strength, and maturity. MacGregor should be a decent draft pick next week.
4/26/16- Committed to Clemson University.
3/31/16- Uncommitted senior who stands at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds with a tall, long, lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Quick motion with a high leg kick and he gets good extension. Quick arm with a high ¾ slot. Some arm side run on his fastball that is mostly 89-91 and touches 92 mph. Solid average curveball and flashes above average with sharpness at 73-75 mph. His curveball is tight and breaks two planes. More velocity to come with more reps and added weight.
2/3/16- Now up to 90-91 mph and has gained 10-15 pounds of muscle from June of 2015.
6/27/15 - Uncommitted incoming senior. 6-foot-3 170 pounds with a tall, lanky, and projectable body. Long, loose arm action with an over the top arm slot. Everything stays in line in his delivery. He could use more of his lower half but he does get good extension. Good downward plane with his fastball. 81-84 mph FB and 69-71 mph CB that is a downer and has good depth. He fills up the zone with both pitches. More velocity to come with added strength, weight, and maturity.
