Quiet rhythm, quiet head, explodes through contact, good weight transfer, stays gap to gap, hard line drive and fly ball contact, 86 mph exit velocity. Works around the plate, clean transfer, keeps front side on target, solid carry, good accuracy- keeps throws down, 72 mph arm strength with 1.97-2.1 pop times. Receiving skills have improved, quiet behind plate, good mobility, solid blocker with quickness, occasional low set-up with runners on base.

3/13/16- 5-foot-11, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.37 60 time. Shows above avg. bat for IA 2017 class. Creates bat speed with short leg kick trigger. Mid/pull approach with above avg. power. Stays short to contact with good extension through baseball. 87 mph exit velocity off tee. Shows raw ability behind plate. Right mentality. Has strength in hands. Should continue to develop and improve behind dish. 2.23 pop time with 71 mph arm strength.

8/4/15- 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.25 runner. Leg kick trigger. Good extension through contact. Loses barrel underneath hands occasionally. Shows ability to drive ball. Gap to gap approach. 86 mph exit velocity off tee. Solid exchange. Feet are good. Follows throws to target with direction. Consistent release point. Ability to receive. 76 mph arm strength with 2.09 pop time. Follow in 2017 class.

5-foot-10, 170-pound catcher. 7.66 60 time. Right-handed hitter with rhythm in swing. Pre-set hand load with short balanced stride to contact. Hips are explosive in swing. Shows quality hand-eye coordination; repeatedly hit ball hard in BP. 75 mph exit velocity. Shows good overall ability behind plate with minor adjustments needed mechanically. Exchange is long but arm works well. Good carry on ball to second base. 70 mph to second base with pop times in 2.22-2.41 range.
