6/5/14 - Unsigned senior and staff ace.  6-foot-2, 160-pound wiry frame with physical projection.  Long, loose arm action from low ¾ slot.  Delivery is slow and controlled to balance point, with good extension out front.  Throws significantly across his body, but good feel for release point out front.  Fastball ranged from 80-83 throughout 3 innings of work, with significant arm-side run thanks to arm slot.  Lost the zone in the fourth, missing consistently to glove side.  Started getting quick with his front side, pulling the baseball out of the zone.  Slider ranged between 71-74 with lateral break, with he ability to throw for strikes consistently.  Also threw changeup for strikes in 73-74 mph range with similar run as fastball, used primarily to left handed hitters.  Slowed game down with runners on base, and good overall composure on the mound.  Pitchability to win a ton of college ballgames.

5/6/14 - Unsigned senior. Lanky, projectable 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame with plenty of room for physical development. Long, loose arm action, 3/4 slot; fastball topped at 85 mph, sitting primarily at 82-83, with significant arm-side run. Also throws a 73-75 mph slider, lateral action, throws pitch consistently for strikes. In seven innings, he allowed five hits, three runs, struck out six, walked one and hit one batter. Serves as team’s ace.
