2nd Team All State: The 6-foot-2, 185-pound left-handed power hitter set a school record for home runs (10) and tied the school record for stolen bases (27). During a one week stretch ending May 11, Forte went 8-for-9 at the plate with 13 RBI, five home runs, and a pair of doubles to be named the MaxPreps USA Baseball Player of the Week for the Great Lakes Region. Forte hit .358 with 36 RBI, 38 runs scored, a .500 on base percentage, and posted a 1.000 fielding percentage, showing off a cannon for an arm from the outfield. Forte was pitched around for a majority of the spring, but drew praise from several area high school coaches as one of the top players in the Chicago-land area. Forte will play his collegiate baseball at Tulane.

4/19/14 - Ranked No. 59 in Illinois, No. 272 overall. Wiry strong 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame, high-level athlete (6.75 60). Left-handed hitter, showed his bat speed by turning on 91-mph fastball for RBI single through the right side. Has pullside approach, tendency to come around baseball; also walked grounded to first baseman and struck out. Also had a RBI single in Game 2. Defensively, has strong arm (clocked at 87 mph at PBR event). In game, made a catch in right field going back, planted and threw a strike to third base on fly. Forte also pitched in Game 2 vs. Niles Notre Dame. In first inning, pitched at 83-84.
2/16/14 6-foot-2, 185-pound two-way player, athletic frame with some length. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced stance, good balance through contact. Made hard contact, 85 mph exit velocity, quick hands. In the outfield has a longer arm action, creates carry, 86 mph arm strength from the outfield. Excellent foot speed, 6.83 runner in the 60. On the mound works from the stretch only , high ¾ arm slot, quick arm action. Fastball has run, 84-85 mph. Curveball flashed 12/6 action, 71-73 mph. Changeup has sink at 78-80 mph.

10/20/13 - Highly athletic frame, projectable build, 6-foot-2, 180-pound left handed hitting outfielder. Highly athletic feet, showed plus potential foot speed, ran a 6.75 60. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced stance, short stride, lower half worked with solid balance through contact. Displayed above average bat speed, path is slightly longer, showed a tendency to make opposite field contact. 79 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed some of the best arm strength from the outfield, clocked at 87 mph from the crow hop. Arm action is long and over the top. Again showed quick footwork as displayed by his 60 time, aggressive routes to the baseball.
8/18/13 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound left hand hitting outfielder who ran a 6.83 60. At the plate he has a balanced setup, smooth loading action, and no stride. His lower half is explosive in the swing and he maintains he balance all the way through. Has an uphill path and looks to pull. Has above average bat speed with an exit velocity of 79 mph off the tee. Defensively he throws with a long arm from a ¾ slot with solid carry at 85 mph. Showed solid actions working through the ball in the outfield. Forte brings a dynamic athleticism to the field, flashing quick twitch actions.
