Fields the ball with both hands, works uphill on exchange. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride. Shows some whip through the zone, swing works, lower half shows stiffness, lacks athleticism.

11/3/12 - Metz is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound left handed hitting outfielder. Metz showed solid balance at the plate displaying a short quick bat path that gets to ball efficiently. He showed athletic feet in the outfield while recording throws of 79 mph with some accuracy. Metz also ran a 7.28 60.
