Transferred to Heartland CC (IL) from Iowa Western CC.

6.14.17 - Drafted in the 38th round by the San Francisco Giants.

5.27.17 - Iowa Western CC recruit. 6-foot-7, 230-pound left-handed pitcher, wide, durable build with athleticism for his size. Fastball worked mostly at 87-89 mph, touching 91 in the first, from a 3/4 to lower-3/4 slot, depending on the pitch. Slider worked at 76-79 mph from lower slot, lateral action. Has potential into developing into high-level draft prospect after junior college.

5.8.17 - Iowa Western commit. Extra-large body, durable and flashes athleticism, 6-foot-7, 230-pound left-handed pitcher. Delivery occasionally works across body, front side got opened early in game, but made adjustment nicely to settle in. Arm slot varied between ¾ and low ¾ tends to work low ¾ on slider and ¾ on fastball. Fastball sat 87-88 all game, touched 91 mph in the first, showed hard run to arm side which is where most misses were, occasionally showed ability to control his glove side of the plate. Slider ranged 76-79 mph, worked from a low ¾ slot, 10/4 sweeping action, occasionally slings it, ability to get swing and miss. Sparingly flashed more of a curveball at 73-75 mph, higher slot with purpose to get over for strikes. Worked 5.2IP, 2R, 4H, 5K, 2BB, retired 13 in order at one point.

3.18.17 - Iowa Western CC commit. 6-foot-7, 230-pound left-handed pitcher. Made a lot of strides on the mound from the summer. Back to his ¾ arm slot with a long arm action works fastball, slider, and changeup. Tall and fall delivery, working in line with home plate. Good balance, works fast on the mound. Attacks hitter with a fastball/slider combination. Fastball came out hot working 88-90 mph showing slight running action. Slider is a plus offering for him, has sharp breaking action and tight rotation, thrown with fastball arm speed. Faced and all right-handed hitting line up, used slider to back foot RHH generating a lot of swing and misses. Didn’t use changeup that much in game, showed hard sinking action in warmups at 80 mph. Strukout seven over five innings of work.

7.28.16 - Verbally committed to Morehead State.

6.16.16 - Extra-large body type, 6-foot-7, 230-pound left-handed pitcher. Tall and fall delivery, tends to finish third base side. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, regular effort, quick arm. Fastball has heavy feel, 85-86 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, 73-76 mph, flashed feel, throws aggressively. Changeup sinks, stayed down, 82-83 mph, fastball arm speed.
2.14.16 - Hulking 6-foot-6, 235-pound left-handed pitcher, extra large, sturdy frame. Full windup delivery, tall and fall type, with some rhythm and body control, lands square and stays on line. Arm action is loose, short draw with extension out front, ¾ slot. Fastball flashed plus sink for his age, occasional run to arm side, showed feel for the pitch, ranged 84-87 mph. Slider has 10/4 shape, good sweeping action, plays well off of fastball, sat steadily at 73 mph. Changeup is thrown with fastball arm action, deceptive, good sink but occasionally gets underneath it, 81-82 mph, showed some confidence.
7/14/14 - Physical presence, strong extra large build, 6-foot-4, 200-pound left handed pitcher, physically strong but yet to mature, highly projectable. Delivery works from the stretch only, toe lift to balance position, can load over rubber better, smooth rhythm, athletic finish. Arm action is long, loose, ¾ slot, strong arm. Fastball features running action, heavy feel, showed control of the zone, ranged 77-80 mph, touched 81 mph. Changeup is best secondary pitch, showed excellent fading action, plus potential pitch, 73-76 mph. Slider has lateral action, some slurve, 66-69 mph, softer action. Struck out five in two innings of game play.
