Built like a future Big 12 middle linebacker (which he is), with broad shoulders and a slim waist. McMillen demonstrated loose hips when tracking down a few balls hit over his head. At this dish, he is narrow, with a moderately open stance. Has a slight upper cut as he tries to create lift in his swing. Possesses raw power.  The senior has strong hands and above average bat speed with a consistent bat angle. Went 2-4 with a HR and 3 RBI.

Earned PBR third-team All-State honors ... The junior erupted on the scene by batting a robust .529 with 14 doubles, seven home runs and four triples. He tallied 55 hits, 28 RBI and 33 runs.
