5.22.15 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound strong and mature right-handed pitcher, ranked No. 18 in Illinois, No. 196 overall, committed to Indiana. Developed lower half, still room to add more weight/strength. Works from a long, high ¾ arm slot, overhead windup, high leg kick, toe pointed down, slight stab down/wrap in back of arm action, but is probably what gives him above average bite on above average to plus high school curveball. Lower half stays in line with home plate, does a good job of finishing over front side, strong sticking landing foot, repeats delivery. Fastball sat 86-88 mph early on (has touched 90 in the past), with good downhill angle. Curveball has big break, 11/5 shape, thrown 71-74 early on. Good feel for strikes and showed the ability to bury it with two strikes. Also showed good feel for 75-77 mph changeup. Pitch has tumbling action, straight down in the zone, split type movement. Had a strikeout with it, and also a groundout to first. Now has 109 strikeouts to only 12 walks on the season. Is evolving into a complete pitcher according to high school coach. Attacked strike zone throughout.

2.15.15 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound lanky and athletic right-handed pitcher, physically mature, fastballs at 87-89 mph from long, high ¾ arm slot, slight stab in takeaway, shoulders close off at balance point, overhead windup, toe down at balance point, level shoulders throughout delivery, lands in line with home plate. Curveball flashed 12/6 shape, sharp, late break, thrown for strikes at 71-75 in windup, 70 mph from the stretch. 76-78 mph changeup thrown down in the zone. Littleton is committed to Indiana, and has a feel for three pitches, including what could be a future plus fastball/curveball combination. He’s a highly ranked prospect in the 2016 class, and will be followed closely over the next two seasons.

8/7/14 - Verbally committed to Indiana after a strong showing at the PBR Future Games

8/2/14 - The 6-foot-2, 180-pound righty impressed on both days with his 88-90 mph fastball, and hard 71-74 mph breaking ball.  In game one, Littleton was greeted with single and triple from the first two batters he faced, but quickly settled down stranding a runner at third by striking out the side.  On day two, with the starting nod against Team Indiana, he worked more in the 87-88 mph range,  recording a 1-2-3 inning with two groundouts and a swinging strikeout on a 74 mph curveball up in the zone.  He showed a good feel in the bullpen for a 75-76 mph sinking changeup, but slightly slows his arm at times.  His projectable, lanky frame, and current fastball velocity make him a highly attractive recruit in the class of 2016.

4/12/14 - Currently ranked No. 26 in Illinois’ 2016 class, No. 11 overall. Athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with plenty of room for continued physical development. Showed an easy release fastball from high 3/4 slot, sitting in the 86-88 range in the first inning, working downhill with some run. Threw to both sides of the plate, pounding the corners. Innings two through five, he maintained an 85-86 fastball. During the second inning, with two on and two out, threw his first curve for a punch out, that showed 11/5 action. By inning three, he threw this pitch more often with more bite and depth.  Mixed in a change throughout at 72-74.  Arm speed stays the same for deception and shows the potential to tail and sink. For the game, he threw five  shutout innings, only allowing 3 hits, with 2 walks and 8 Ks.

7/23/13 - Strong build, sturdy lower half, wider shoulders, 6-foot-1, 170-pound two-way player, highly projectable. On the mound, Littleton was one of the top prospects in attendance. Delivery was smooth, stayed tall with little effort, ¾ arm slot. Fastball showed sinking action, showed command, 81-84 mph, topping at 85 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 70-73 mph, displayed feel, flashed sharp action. Occasionally showed a change up at 72-74 mph. In game play Littleton showed he can produce ground balls at a high rate while pounding the strike zone. Defensively featured a strong arm from the outfield, fluid footwork. Hits from an open stance, slight dive, solid balance. Hard contact, some barrel awareness, occasional pull side approach. Littleton is one of the top pitchers in the Class of 2016 and is a high follow in his class.
