3.21.17 - Arizona State commit. 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitcher, lean athletic build. Delivery is athletic, ability to repeat, high front side to squared landing, got up in the zone as game wore on, worked directionally. Arm action is loose and live, showed more length on back side then last year, high ¾ slot, easy and effortless. Fastball is firm and straight, sneaky finish through the zone, showed ability to command both sides of the plate early in outing, willing to go inside with confidence, sat easy 88-89 mph in first two innings, finished at 86-87 mph in the fifth. Showed ability to get swing and miss with fastball throughout outing. Curveball is a plus offering, hard late action on 11/5 plane, 74-77 mph, swing and miss action in and out of the hitting zone, all six strikeouts came by way of CB, also confident to throw in 3-2 counts. Flashed a changeup at 84 mph. Final line – 4.2IP, 0R, 3H, 6K, 2BB.

5.4.16 - Arizona State commit, ranked No. 2 in Illinois’ 2017 class and No. 32 overall. 6-foot-3, 180-pound, right-handed pitcher with a solid, projectable and highly athletic build. Corrigan continues to impress and proved once again he is one of the top 2017 right-handed pitchers in the Midwest. Consistent performer, who showcased much of the same stuff seen earlier this spring. Corrigan worked quick, pounded the strike zone and kept hitters off balance with his fastball/curveball combination. Finished with a complete game shutout and a final tally of 11 punch-outs. Clean, easy and repeatable delivery, slightly high front side and stays on-line. Short arm on the backside, comes out by his ear, gets on top and out front. Fastball, thrown for strikes, works mainly straight, late life, tilt; worked the bottom of the zone, both sides of the plate, not afraid to go inside on hitters, 86-88 mph throughout. Curveball is a plus pitch, swing-and-miss action, with feel, tight spin and downer action. Thrown confidently and aggressively, 78-80 mph. Saw one changeup at 79 mph, flashed sink. High pitchability right-hander, profiles as a starter at the next level with his ability to hold velocity. Will become even more dominant when he begins to utilize a changeup more often. High upside 2017 draft follow.

4.14.16 - Arizona State commit, ranked No. 2 in Illinois’ 2017 class. Lean athletic frame, 6-foot-3, 180-pounds, broad shouldered, highly projectable to carry more strength. Delivery is clean and easy, stays on line with good direction and balance, front side stays closed, athletic from the stretch, easily repeatable. Arm action is short, dart thrower type, lacked some extension, over the top slot, comes out of tight window near the head, some deception. Fastball is mostly straight, flashed arm side action at times, finishes well through the hitting zone, gets on hitters quicker than the 87-88 mph velocity would suggest, touched 89 mph, held velocity late and out of the stretch, 86-87 mph in the seventh. Curveball is a plus pitch, hard biting action mostly on a 12/6 plane, showed ability to get two-plane action expanding the zone, excellent feel and command, ability to drop for strikes in any count, swing and miss action, 76-79 mph. Flashed a changeup between innings, good arm action with slight fade, did not feature in game. Highly athletic on and off the mound, fields his position well, quick feet. Overall showed excellent pitchability with fastball/curveball combination, controls the game well, good mound presence, final line – 7IP, 0R, 3H, 0BB, 11K. High upside 2017 draft follow.

8.31.15 - Verbally committed to Arizona State

Future Games 2015 - Athletically built, prototypical pitchers frame 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed pitcher was one of the biggest risers at the Future Games. Looks to be the total package on the mound. He featured one of if not the best breaking balls at the event. Corrigan’s curveball is a flat out hammer, at 77-79 mph it can work 12/6 and has swing and miss action that he throws with conviction. On top of that he is athletic, has an electric arm and exudes a ton of confidence on the mound. Fastball was a lively 88-90 mph in his two outings and wasn’t afraid to challenge hitters. Operates from a high ¾ arm slot, repeats his delivery and pounds the zone with all of his pitches. Has feel for a change-up, thrown with fastball arm-speed, fade action at 82 mph. In his two innings of work over the weekend he only allowed one hit and struck out three. One of the top uncommitted 2017’s in the entire Midwest.

8/18/13 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound strong, athletic pitcher that shows good projectability on the mound. He throws from a high ¾ slot, with a long arm and regular effort, with a tall and fall style delivery. He showcased a straight fastball sitting 80-81 mph, touching 82 mph, and was able to throw it for strikes. His curveball has an 11/5 shape to it, showing a touch of depth at 65-67 mph. His changeup flashed quality fading action and came in at 70-74 mph.

8/14/19: Showcased an above-average slider in the 79-to-82 velocity band, backed-up by a below-average 89-to-91 fastball. The slider plays well but is not quite dynamic enough to carry a one-dimensional profile and Corrigan struggled constantly with free passes. (Faleris)

10/15/18Appeared in both scrimmages for a total of 3 IP. Strong and athletic bodied at six-foot-two, 200 pounds. High three-quarter slot, strike-thrower. Worked quick and repeated delivery. Fastball has some weight to it. Sat 89-90, touching 91 on both occasions. Worked both sides of the plate and down in the zone for plus control. Great feel for changing shape, movement and velocity on his breaking pitch. Varied between an 84-86 mph cutter, 80-82 mph slider and 77 curveball. All were tight with late break. Just for good measure, he mixed in an average changeup with sink at 82 mph. Impressive arm with plus pitch ability on my looks. Potential Top 10 round draft follow for 2020. (Seifert)
