1/22/18 - Committed to St. John's University
6/11/16 - Drafted in the 31st round by the Chicago White Sox out of Nazareth Academy.

4.18.15 - 6-foot, 185-pound athletic right-handed hitting RHP/SS. Strong, muscular build, ranked No. 41 in Illinois, No. 391 overall. Tough competitor on the mound and at the plate. Pitched game one, fastball sat 84-86 mph throughout five innings of work, touching 87 several times, and 88 mph once. Curveball has shown plus 12/6 shape in the past, was left up in this outing more than usual, but flashed action at times at 66-68 mph. Changeup was a plus pitch on this day, exhibiting hard, late, arm side run, swing and miss potential thrown aggressively from 76-78 mph. Struck out six in five innings, recorded strikeouts on all three pitches. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup, short stride, simple approach, works up the middle and to right center. Line drive double to right center in game one, also singled. Impresses defensively as well at short, comes and gets the ball, quality middle infield actions, arm strength with carry and accuracy across the diamond. Ran 4.69 to first on a groundout to short, ran 7.35 in the 60 this summer.

3.30.15 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound, right-handed hitting SS/RHP with a strong, athletic build. Showed plus arm strength ranging into the 6-hole and making a strong throw to get runner at first. At the plate hits from a balanced setup and showed an up the middle approach. Took the mound working from an over the top arm angle with a short arm action and short stride. Tall and fall online delivery. Fastball sat 83-85 topping out at 87 mph. Curveball showed 12-6 shape at 72 mph.
8/2/14 - Bossard impresses both on the mound and in the infield, though his bat and fielding prowess are most likely ahead of his pitching abilities currently.  He went 3-for-8 at the plate over three games, with an RBI- ground rule double to right center field in game three vs. Team Indiana.  Bossard was quite possibly the MVP for Team Illinois in game three, as he preserved the tie on the mound, stranding a runner at third base with a fly out to center and a looking strikeout on a 12/6 curveball to end the game.  Bossard worked at 83-85 on the mound, with a 67-69 mph curveball with true 12/6 shape.  He competes, and could throw harder down the road if he lengthened out his stride, which currently is extremely short, but keeps him on top of his plus curveball.

4/10/14 - Ranked No. 17 in Illinois’ 2016 class and No. 61 overall.  Shows all-around abilities to become highly coveted national prospect. Athletic 6-foot, 185-pound frame. Plays with a level of moxie well beyond his years. Defensively, starts at third base because senior Tim DalPorto is at shortstop, but has all the requisite tools to become high-level shortstop. Arm is athletic and has easy carry across diamond. In the game, he made a quick ranging play to his right, spun, and wrist-flicked a strike across the diamond. Overall advanced defensive actions across the board. Same can be said for his offensive approach at the plate. Relaxed, balanced setup, excellent pitch recognition, aggressive but under control. Works counts well. Has advanced bat speed and barrel whip through the zone. In his first at-bat, he doubled to right field on a high curveball. He walked his second plate appearance. In his third at-bat, he fell behind in the count, proceeded to foul off some pitcher’s pitches, before he got the count even and then smoked a laser to left field for another double. He also scored two runs and drove in two.
