10/14/12 - Jestice is a wide shouldered 6-foot-2, 215-pound right handed pitcher who has seen consistent improvement over the last month.  Jestice has now seen his fastball top out at 91 mph, hitting it multiple times at the Unsigned Senior Showcase. Jestice operates from a high ¾ arm slot, using a long arm action. His balance has proven to be solid throughout his delivery, showing smooth rhythm and a directional tall and fall approach. His delivery is one that is repeatable and looks to be able to hold up over multiple innings. His fastball ranged at 87-91 mph, featuring some heavy sink. His curveball is a solid secondary pitch that works on an 11/5 plane at 66-69 mph while keeping it down in the zone. His change-up showed sink and controlled the pitch well at 73-75 mph. On top of his strong arm and prowess on the mound, Jestice also scored a 31 on his ACT.

10/7/12 - Jestice has a good strong pitchers frame that is still maturing. At 6-foot-2, 215-pounds Jestice showed well on the mound. Jestice works out of an easy balanced delivery from a high ¾ arm slot. He has a smooth rhythm to his delivery completing it in an athletic position. Jestice featured a fastball that sat in the 85-87 mph range while flashing an 89 that was down in the zone with hard late arm side action. His curveball was 65-66 mph showing some late sharp action on an 11/5 plane, Jestice also showed good arm speed with this pitch. Jestice showed good control of a change up (75-78 mph) that was thrown with fastball arm action. His change showed consistent sink and looks to be a pitch he can throw with consistency to get back into counts.

2/20/12 Jestice is a strong 6-foot-2, 220-pound two-way player who showed well at the plate, exhibiting some juice in his swing.  Jestice used a strong lower half to create good torque and maintained balance throughout contact.  Defensively, Jestice showed solid footwork around the bag; he was clocked at 81 mph from across the infield.  On the mound, Jestice has an over the top arm slot and throws four pitches.  He threw a heavy 81-84 mph fastball, a 59-61 mph curveball, a 64-65 mph changeup, and a 69-70 mph splitter.

 
8/8/12 Jestice is a physical 6-foot-2,  215-pound right-hander who showcased arm strength on the mound. He works downhill well at 84 mph, topping at 86. His over the top arm slot produces a heavy fastball that should get him plenty of groundballs. He throws his curveball for strikes with some bite, in the 64-67 mph range. He also threw a 72-74 changeup. With added arm speed, he can improve both secondary pitches.
