Pickett, who is signed at the University of Iowa, is one of the top infield prospects in the state. Physically strong, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Pickett is an advanced defensive third baseman, as he showed excellent hands, extremely quick feet, and a strong, accurate arm across the infield (83 mph). Pickett moves well laterally and displayed a smooth backhand. At the plate, Devin showed a compact stroke with bat speed. He exhibited barrel whip through the zone and projectable power potential. Pickett ran a 7.05 60. Committed to the University of Iowa in the fall of his junior year.
