5-foot-10, 178-pound left handed pitcher. Tall and fall delivery that has deception, hides the baseball well. Stab draw out of the glove. Short and loose arm action, works from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat 80-81 mph, touching 83 mph with late arm side run. He mixed in a breaking ball with 1/7 shape at 73-74 mph to help miss barrels. His curveball has occasional depth as well. He showed feel for his changeup, which plays with solid fading action at 74-75 mph.

Uncommitted sophomore; Currently ranked No. 69 in the IL 2021 class. 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, lean and athletic, room for added strength. Started against a solid Providence team on the road, put together a respectable performance; L, 4IP, H, 2R, ER, 4K, 4BB, HBP (45 of 78 pitches for strikes). Issuing free passes came back to hurt him in the long run as one of his walks and came around to score on the sole hit allowed; Second run to touch home was his HBP that came in on a defensive error. Misses were not far out of the zone, around it all day, ‘pitched’ with feel for the dirt circle, advanced for a 2021. Attacked early with three offerings (13 of 20 first pitch strikes). Long gather step into a tall, high knee balance, strides in-line to home, toe twists open and spins off to third quick after release, effort is easy. Slight high front side adding deception to delivery, arm plays short and loose out front, average arm speed, clean high ¾ slot. Fastball ranged 77-80 mph, sat 78 mph mostly, lived at the bottom of the zone with run and slight sink to his arm side, went to both sides of the plate, but favored outer third to hitters. Feel for a changeup with fastball arm speed, threw it in all counts with fade, 70-73 mph. Curveball flashed depth at times, can spin it but guided it more so on this day, 1/7 shape, 68-72 mph. Aware of base runners, picked often and changed timing to home, 1.07-1.15 to home in stretch. Athletically fielded his position with runners on base, under control actions. Follow 2021.

Methodical tempo, sturdy balance over the rubber, hand breaks into a high front side, short stride, works in-line, toe lands square with occasional spin open, athletic finish with balance rhythm throughout. Arm plays short and loose, speeds up through a high ¾ window, effort is easy. Fastball played straight, sat 76-78 mph. Feel for a changeup, late fade with arm speed, 72-73 mph. Curveball flashed sharp 1/7 break with arm speed, 68-71 mph.

8/19/18 - LHP- shows room to grow physically. 77-79 mph fastball with late life, hides ball from hitter well. Big shape on curveball for strikes at 68-72 mph.

7/8/18 - 6-foot, 150-pound, lean, athletically-built, left-handed pitcher. High-upside left-handed arm. Repeatable, directional delivery, worked with rhythm. Fastball, advanced control, worked both sides of the plate, slight arm-side-run, sat 78-80 mph. Breaking ball, short break 1/7 shape, 70-73 mph. High-follow 2021 left-handed arm.

2.18.18 - 6-foot, 150 pound, long, athletically built, left handed hitting, two way prospect. On the mound, left handed thrower, tilt and topple delivery, good balance point, in line directionally, square landing, athletic finish. Short, loose arm action, quick arm speed, seamless effort, high ¾ arm slot. Three pitch feel; Fastball, showed run in the zone, ranged 77-78 mph, topped 80 mph. Curveball, 1/7 shape, sharp break, maintains arm speed, in the zone at 70-71 mph. Changeup, faded, ranged 70-72 mph. At the plate, athletic, crouched setup, back bar load, short stride. Level bat path, middle/opposite field approach, exit velocity topped 78 mph off a tee. Ran a 7.36 laser timed 60.

10.22.17 - 6-foot, 150-pound, athletically built, two-way prospect. On the mound, left-handed pitcher, drop and drive uptempo delivery and stays on-line. Long, loose, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 77-78 mph. Curveball, advanced pitch, 2/8 shape, sharp action, tight spin, feel, 68-71 mph. Changeup, arm-side-run, 70-73 mph. At the plate, left-handed hitter, crouched setup, short leg-kick trigger. Pull approach and 78 mph exit velocity from a tee. At first base, athletic fielding position, clean transfer, loose arm, throws clocked at 74 mph across the diamond. 7.40 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

7.14.17 - 6-foot, wiry, athletic, left-handed pitcher. Advanced pitchability for his age. Good mound presence, repeats delivery, stays on-line and pounded the strike zone throughout. Clean, loose, short arm out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 73-75 mph, mostly straight, occasional arm-side-action. Good feel for curveball, 1/7 shape, depth and 67 mph.

2.20.17 - 5-foot-11, 139-pound, lanky left-handed pitcher and first baseman. On the mound, throws from a ¾ arm slot with short arm action and quick arm speed. Pitches with regular effort, works on-line, lands square. Fastball clocked at 71-73 mph, topped out at 74 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, late break, clocked at 67-69 mph. Changeup had arm-side-run, clocked at 69 mph. Defensively possesses a clean arm, throws from a high ¾ arm slot with short arm action, kept throws around the bag. Attacked slow roller. Clocked at 71 mph across the infield. Offensively, balanced setup, leg lift stride, maintains balance. Long, level barrel path, recorded a 73 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.37 laser-timed 60.
