5.15.17 - Kirkwood CC commit. 6-foot-3, 185-pound, right-handed pitcher with a strong, durable frame. Projects as a late-inning bullpen arm at the next level. Two-pitch mix, came on in relief for the Lions. Went three innings, scattered two hits, no runs, struck out three and walked two. Strong, live arm, goes right after hitters with some effort in delivery. Fastball has life, four-seam action, got swings and misses up in the zone, sat 86-87 mph, touching 88 early on. Breaking ball is thrown aggressively, with conviction, feel, tight, sharp action, varied between 11/5 and 10/4 shape, 73-75 mph.
8.18.13 - 5-foot-8, 130-pound, lanky, two way player. On the mound he throws from a high ¾ slot with a long arm action. He throws a straight fastball at 66-68 mph. His curveball was 54-59 mph with a soft breaking action. The changeup sat 58-62 mph, with occasional sink. In the outfield he throws from the same slot, with the same long arm, at 65 mph. Offensively, he has a balanced setup and a short stride with an uphill bat path. Off the tee he had an exit velocity of 68 mph. He ran an 8.11 60.
9/16/19: Six-foot-3 righty who drove the ball downhill with good arm speed. With more control than command his fastball ranged from 89-92 mph and a mid-2300 spin rate. Also showed a 72-73 mph curveball during his one inning of work.
