6/19/14 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed pitcher showed feel for three pitches from long, high 3/4 arm action.  Gets over rubber well, closes shoulders and comes out and around with glove hand, hiding the baseball.  Lower half generally stays online with home plate, landing slightly close on front foot, and throwing slightly across his body.  80-83 mph fastball showed some run when located to arm side.  Slows arm on 63-65 mph curveball with 12/6 action and a slight hump.  72-74 mph circle changeup was thrown at fastball arm speed with fade to his arm side, looks to be his best secondary offering.
9.25.13 - Athletically built 6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed pitcher. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with a loose arm action and quality rhythm and tempo. His fastball showed a slight running action at 78-79 mph, flashing 80 mph, for strikes. The curveball has an 11/5 shape with gradual break at 61-65 mph. The changeup is flashed occasional sink at 70-74 mph.
6.11.13 - The athletically built, 6-foot-1, 180-pound left-hander showed an impressive bullpen at the showcase.  Repeatable delivery with long arm action, Stannard threw two of his three pitches most effectively.  Fastball showed some life and arm-side run at 79-80 mph.  Changeup showed to be Stannard’s best off-speed, sitting at 74-75 mph displaying arm-side run and sink.  Curve had 12/6 action with some depth but needs development.  Showed some pop at the plate recording an 81 mph exit velocity.  Threw 72 mph across the infield and ran a 7.59 60.
