Right-handed hitter, aggressive approach, with intent, looks to make pull side contact with authority, above average exit velocity off the bat, above average pop, some natural lift in swing, mostly elevated contact. Showed ability to go the other way, smoked a back side double in bracket play. 

2/10/19 - 6-foot-3, 195-pound, strong, wide-shouldered, physically-advanced right-handed hitting infielder. One of the toolsiest prospects in the class. Ran a 6.75 laser-timed 60, was 94 mph across the infield and registered a 93 mph exit velocity from a tee. At the plate, open setup, loads hands down and leg-kick timing trigger. Swings with intent, looks to drive the baseball with authority and present bat speed. Uphill bat path, power potential and gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, steady hands, maintained body control on the move, advanced back hand play. Loose, quick arm action, over-the-top slot and plus arm; 94 mph across. High-follow 2020 prospect.

4.11.18 - Currently ranked No. 13 in the Illinois’ 2020 class. 6-foot-3, 195-pound, physically-advanced, strong, right-handed hitter. Plays shortstop and hits in the three-hole for Normal U-High as a sophomore. At the plate, open, relaxed and confident look in the box. Creates advanced bat speed for his age and looks to do damage on every swing. Got a breaking ball up in the zone in his second at-bat and drove a line-drive to deep-center field, resulting in an RBI triple. Defensively, currently plays shortstop but could grow into a corner infield position at the next level given his frame. Has plenty of arm strength to stick on the left-side of the diamond. High-follow 2020 prospect.

3.15.18 - Currently ranked No.13 in the Illinois’ 2020 class. 6-foot-3, 195-pound, big-bodied, athletic right-handed hitting infielder. A mainstay at SS for the Pioneers so far this tournament, plays more experienced than his Sophomore classification. At the plate, slightly open setup, balanced, quick bat. Showed selective aggressiveness against Freeburg and finished 2-for-3 with a opposite field line drive double, one RBI and one run scored. Defensively, steady defender, handled all of the routine plays. Can range to both sides, average body control, strong arm, carried across the infield.

10.22.17 - Large strong build, 6-foot-2, 180-pound infielder,strong lower half. Right-handed hitter, tall setup, open stance, short leg lift trigger, solid balance, presence in the box. Strong hands, makes easy hard contact, advanced bat speed, slight uphill stroke, favors pull side with power. 97 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively shows plus arm strength for his age, 87 mph across the diamond, long loose high arm action, strong carry. Plays with light feet for his size, profiles at a corner infield spot, enough foot project in the outfield as well. 6.99 runner in the 60.

7.24.17 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound, physically-advanced, strong, toolsy, right-handed hitting infielder.  Has one of the most impressive skill sets in the 2020 Illinois class; arm clocked at 86 mph across the infield, 93 mph exit velocity and ran a 4.50 home-to-first during game play. At the plate, balanced setup, deliberate loading action, short stride and good balance through contact. Ball jumps off his bat differently than most guys in the 2020 class. Creates easy bat speed, gap-to-gap approach and made a lot of strong contact. Defensively, should continue to fill out physically and may end up at third base. Flashes soft hands, plays with confidence and shows off a big arm that has carry and occasional life across the diamond. High-level 2020 prospect.

10.23.16 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, infielder with an athletic, physically advanced, strong frame. Right-handed hitter, present bat speed and quick twitch in swing. Ball jumps off the bat, gap-to-gap approach; exit velocity clocked at 90 mph from a tee. Balanced open setup, leg-kick timing trigger and average balance throughout. Defensively, has a big arm across the diamond for his age; clocked at 85 mph across the diamond with carry and life. Steady hands and longer, gathered transfer. Also, ran a 7.15 laser-timed 60. High follow 2020 infielder.

3.6.16 - 6-foot-1, 150-pound, projectable, right-handed hitting infielder with tools. Above-average runner in the 60, 7.16. Offensively, bat speed and level path through the hitting zone. Open wide setup, pre-pitch load and short toe-tap timing trigger. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, loose, quick arm action, accurate throws with carry across the diamond, 80 mph.
