Short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.68. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top arm slot with a long exchange. Tall receiver in drills. Popped 2.11-2.19 and threw 74 mph from the crouch.
8.7.15 - 6-foot, 185-pound catcher, solid build. Right-handed hitter, open setup, crouched stance, short stride to even. Spray type hitter, showed bat speed, path works. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively plays with a long firm arm action out of the crouch, over the top slot, 71 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged 2.12-2.35. 7.74 runner in the 60.
2.16.15 - 6-foot, 185-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. In the field has a short arm action, form an over the top arm slot. Quick, clean transfer with decent footwork. Popped 2.23-2.29 and threw 70 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from a wide, balanced stance with a short stride. Good balance with a long, uphill swing path. 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.81.
2/17/14 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound catcher. Offensively he hits from a balanced stance and uses a small leg kick stride. Has a gap-to-gap swing with an uphill path and high finish. Exit velocity off the tee was 74 mph. Behind the plate he has a solid setup. Arm works short, from over the top at 67 mph from the crouch. Pop times were in the 2.29-2.36 range. Ran an 8.07 60.
2/18/13 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound catcher. Solid blocking technique, 2.36-2.44 pop times, 68 mph arm from the crouch. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, uses short stride with slight leg lift. Hits off backside, long path, slightly uphill, 73 mph exit velocity from the tee.
