4.4.15 - 5-foot-10, 180-pound athletic, right-handed hitting shortstop ranked No. 112 in Illinois, St. Joseph’s (IN) commit, well developed lower half, strong forearms, hits from a slightly open setup, hands held high initially, load back smoothly, up the middle approach, hit the ball with authority to right side several times. Short, level bat path, well above average strength and bat speed (91 mph exit velocity in the past). Defensively, soft hands fielding the baseball, well above average defender at short, above average arm strength across the diamond (up to 88 mph this summer) from short, quick, high ¾ arm slot with accuracy. Average runner (7.36 in the 60).
.
6/19/14 - Solidly built 5-foot-10, 180-pound infielder, developed lower half with proportional strength. Was one of the top infielders at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup, maintains balance throughout swing, leg kick trigger, excellent rhythm and timing; level, flat path, gap-to-gap approach. Clearly knows what he is doing in the box. Bat speed present with little effort; recorded 91 mph exit velocity. Defensively, showed premium arm strength across infield (88 mph), some effort in throw, longer arm swing; currently plays shortstop though may be better suited at third base. Fields the ball in rhythm, soft hands, clean exchange and plays through ball well. Ran a 7.36 60.

6.13.13 - Kenney is a physical 5-foot-10, 180-pound infielder who showed solid all-around ability across the board. Defensively, he fields the ball with rhythm, plays through the ball well, and demonstrated plenty of arm across the diamond (81 mph). Offensively, he has an aggressive yet balanced plate approach. Has a mechanically sound swing and showed the ability to drive the ball with some carry (87 mph exit velocity). Kenny, who ran a 7.59 60, may project more as a third baseman at the next level.

1/20/13 - Strong frame, 5-foot-10, 170-pound two-way player. Projects better positionally. Athletic infield actions, long arm action, strong arm (82 mph), arm shows carry and accuracy. Hits from balanced setup, smooth load, slight leg lift trigger, lower half works well, short path, line drive hitter, flashes hard contact.
