Offensively hits from right side with tall and balanced setup, no load, no stride, average bat speed, fair approach, long level path, and line drive type. Exit velo 81 mph. Defensively, long arm action form ¾ slot, some accuracy, and some carry on ball. Threw 75 mph across infield.

10.19.14 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed hitting first baseman hits from a tall, open setup, utilizes a leg kick, hands drop to load, quick wrists, average bat speed, took a right-center field approach during batting practice, 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively at first, threw 74 mph across the diamond from short, high ¾ arm slot, soft hands fielding, fluid footwork, athletic around the bag, runs an 8.08 60. On the mound, fastball sat 78-80 mph with arm side run from short, loose, high ¾ arm slot. Turns back at balance point, toe up, rotational delivery, landing with front foot open. 11/5 curveball sat 63-66 mph, 67-69 mph slider was harder with later break from a lower arm slot. 70-73 mph changeup flashed sinking action.

1.19.14 - 6-foot, 200-pound two-way player. On the mound arm works cleanly from a high ¾ slot, long arm action, little effort. Fastball flashed running action, 77-78 mph. Changeup has sink, deceptive arm action, 70-73 mph. Curveball works on 11/5 plane, 64-66 mph, shows feel for the pitch. Defensively arm played at 73 mph across the diamond, shorter arm action, hands played well. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short heel lift stride. 78 mph exit velocity from the tee.

10/27/13 - Solid frame, 6-foot, 200-pound two way player. Tall and fall style, effortless delivery, works online, athletic finish, mechanically sound. Arm action is long and loose, easy arm action, ¾ slot. Fastball has sink, heavy feel, showed the ability for command, 77-78 mph. Curveball showed well above average action for his age, 11/5 plane, slurve feel, 65-67 mph. Changeup has sink, fastball arm speed, showed control, 70-71 mph.  Defensively showed the ability to play through the baseball, body control, clean exchange, above average hands. Arm action is long, high ¾ slot, accurate arm with carry at 75 mph across the diamond. Offensively hits from a wide stance, minimal stride, heel lift load. Advanced bat speed, showed occasional pop, erratic contact, 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ran an 8.55 60.
