12.29.14- Committed to Concordia (IL).
2/16/14 5-foot-10, 180-pound two way player, solid build with athleticism. Defensively plays through the baseball, arm has carry and accuracy, 85 mph from the outfield. Runs a 7.28 60. Takes efficient routes to the baseball and works well through it. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride, short fluid load. Quiet through contact, repeats well, maintains excellent balance. Excellent bat speed, 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. On the mound arm works with regular effort, high ¾ slot. Fastball is mostly straight, showed control for the zone, 81-82 mph, touched 84 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, slurve feel, 68-70 mph. Changeup has fading action, 72-75 mph with feel.

10/20/13 - 5-foot-10, 180-pound strong body two way player. From the outfield he showed quick twitch actions with fluid feet. Throws from over the top with a short arm at 85 mph with solid carry and accuracy. Ran a 7.02 60. At the plate he has a balanced setup, smooth load and short stride. Has a short, quick, line drive swing that gets to quality extension and really drives the ball on a line. Exit velocity was 86 mph off a tee. On the mound his quick arm action translates well. Fastball sits at 83 mph and flashes 85 mph for strikes. Throws his changeup with fastball arm speed, getting quality sink and deception at 71-74 mph. Breaking pitch has 10/4 shape with sweeping break at 69-71 mph for strikes.
11/3/12 - Tyrell is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound two-way player. Tyrell showed solid arm strength from the outfield at 80 mph with accuracy. Offensively, Tyrell hits from a slightly open and tall stance. He showed a smooth load and solid balance throughout producing a short level bat path. Tyrell showed the ability to drive the ball to the gaps creating slight lag in his bat. On the mound, Tyrell operated from a high ¾ arm slot, with looseness and rhythm. His fastball clocked in at 73-74 mph complimented by a 63-65 mph slider that he showed control of and a consistent 10/4 plane. He also showed a change up at 72 mph.
