5/17/14 - Ranked No. 192 in Illinois’ 2014 class. Committed to the University of St. Francis.  6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame. Currently plays shortstop, but may be a better fit at second or third at the next level. Fluid actions in pregame, but stayed back on groundballs, not aggressively playing through it. Shows arm strength, which is evident on the mound as well. Drops arm angle turning double play ball. Made an error extending first inning on a lightly hit groundball/run through play. Average runner, 4.5-4.6 range on two groundouts. Currently leading Lincoln-Way’s pitching staff in wins. 2-for-4 on the day at the plate with a double, homer and 3-RBI. Slightly open stance that gets back to square, no wasted movement in hands, with quiet pre-pitch load.  Swing generates loft, doubled to right center on 80 mph fastball, impressed with no doubt homer to left in third at bat staying back on a 73 mph change. Good athlete and legitimate two-way talent at the next level for the Saints.
5/25/13 - Athletically built 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect. Pitched in relief of Bass. Threw 1.2 innings, allowing two hits and a walk. Fastball ranged between 80-82, topping at 83. Curveball in the 71-73 range. Also hit a double at the plate.

2/17/13 - Average frame, 6-foot-2, 185-pound two way player. Defensively, shows solid glove work, projects more as a third base type, arm plays across diamond, 76 mph, stands tall to release the baseball. Offensively, hits from an open stance, short stride with leg lift, pre pitch bat waggle, sets hands low. Shows bat speed through the zone, 81 mph exit velocity. Above average hand-eye, finds the barrel regularly. Lacks some balance and timing but still squares the baseball up. On the mound, fastball showed control of the zone, showed sink, 79-81 mph, flashed 82 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, lacked control, 72-74 mph. Changeup thrown with aggressive arm action, shows arm side run, lacks control, consistently below the zone, 75-77 mph.
7.25.12 Mampe is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound multi-positional player who has a strong, athletic frame. On the mound, Mampe operates from a 3/4 arm slot, and everything he throws has movement. His fastball, which sat in the 80-81 range, displayed arm-side life.  He commanded his 71-73 mph slider down in the zone for strikes. Mampe also showed feel for a 72-74 mph changeup. Offensively, Mampe hits from a wide, balanced set up and takes a short and quick approach to the ball. He demonstrated bat speed and utilized a strong lower half to drive the baseball with consistent hard contact. Defensively, he  displayed an accurate arm across the infield, topping at 79 mph.
