6/3/13 - Highly ranked prospect in Illinois’ 2013 class. Southern Illinois University recruit. At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Pruemer is a hulking presence on the mound. In the first inning, fastball sat at 89-90 mph;  pitched later innings at 83-86, getting up to 89 mph when really wanted it. Slider is vastly improved since last time we saw him. As game progressed, he was throwing 75 mph slider with sharp two-plane break.

2/19/12 The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Pruemer is a hulking presence on the mound. He has strong legs, wide shoulders and an arm that works with fluidity. He operates from a high 3/4 arm slot, delivering fastballs that topped at 87 mph with arm-side life. For his size, he showed good rhythm and tempo on the mound. Pruemer complimented his heavy fastball with a 73-75 mph changeup that demonstrated some late sink, and a 70-73 curveball. Pruemer looks to be one of the better power arms in the Class of 2013.

Went 5-0 as a sophomore to help Teutopolis win the Class 2A state championship.
