Singled in first at bat on a two strike curveball between first and second, stole second base. Homered to right-center (grand slam) in second at bat, line shot into a cross wind (wind howling out straight to left field). Added sixth-RBI in third at bat on a bases loaded hit-by-pitch. Impressed in one change in left field, making a running catch down the line in foul territory fighting swirling wind. Ranked No. 58 in Illinois’ 2016 class, with prospect status rising due to advanced bat.

3.22.16 - Kansas State recruit. 5-foot-11, 195-pound, solid lower half, outfielder. Left-handed hitter, athletic setup, compact swing and an advanced approach at the plate. Worked the entire field, singled up the middle and drove two balls to the opposite field. Ended the day 3-for-3, with a double, three runs and two stolen bases. 

2.15.15 - 5-foot-10, 195-pound outfielder, strong build, has wide shoulders and solid lower half. Left-handed hitter, open stance, smooth loading action, slight leg lift. Loose hands, showed bat speed, short path with extension, line drive gap to gap approach. 75 mph exit velocity from the tee, strong hitter. Defensively plays with a long over the top arm action, accurate arm, stayed on line with some carry, played at 84 mph from a crowhop. 7.28 runner in the 60.
