8/9/13 - 6-foot, 180-pound catcher with mechanically sound blocking and receiving skills. From behind the dish he had a clean exchange, with an over-the-top slot at 74 mph, producing pop times in the 2.08-2.19 range.  He was clocked at 7.33 in the 60. Offensively, has a balanced setup with a short stride. Uses his lower half well and maintains balance throughout the swing, while showing the ability to make consistent contact with an up-the-middle approach. Displayed above average bat speed with extension and had an exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee. In games he made line-drive contact, including a triple, and scored a couple of runs.

5/17/13 - Solidly built 6-foot, 180-pound catcher. Receives and blocks well in game. Consistent 2.18-2.25 pop times between innings with accuracy. In game went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles and two walks. Ran a 7.29 60 at past PBR event.

10/21/12 - Kouri is a 6-foot, 165-pound athletic catcher. Offensively, he showed a fundamental approach with good bat speed and barrel whip through the zone. Kouri has an athletic setup and demonstrated a short bat path to the baseball. Kouri, who ran a 7.29 60, showcased an accurate arm, with a top pop time of 2.19. He also exhibited athletic feet and solid hands receiving.
