10/30/16 - Verbally committed to Central College (IA).
8/9/16 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher with an athletic frame. At the plate hits from an open stance with a short leg lift stride back to even. Pull, power hitter with a level swing path and good balance. Showed strength thru contact with 89 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.26. Hit a homerun to left field in game. Right-handed power is his best tool, bat plays in game, could project at first base at the next level. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot, uphill throws. Popped 2.22-2.28 and threw 72 mph from the crouch.

6/16/16 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound, strong, multi-positional prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter. Flashed bat speed, short path, gap-to-gap approach; 92 mph exit velocity off a tee. Open setup, leg kick timing trigger, maintains balance through contact. Defensively, worked out as a catcher and an outfielder. Behind the plate, fluid footwork, clean exchange. Long arm from an over the top to high ¾ arm slot; 75 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.19. In the outfield, similar arm action, throws clocked at 80 mph. 7.14 runner in the laser timed 60.

2/14/16 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher/outfielder, shows some physicality. Offensive minded catcher, strong bat. Hits from a tall open stance, longer stride. Aggressive swinger, hard contact guy, pull side power approach, longer path, strong bat, 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively pop times posted 2.11-2.15, longer arm action, 77 mph out of the crouch. In the outfield profiles at a corner spot, 80 mph, moves well plays through the baseball. 7.12 runner. May profile best in the outfield at the next level, bat will play.
10.18.15 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound catcher, physical athletic frame, advanced physical make-up. Offensively hits from a tall open stance, longer stride back to even, lower half works, excellent pre pitch. Aggressive swinger, advanced bat speed with pop, hits with rhythm. 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Advanced bat will play well at the next level. Defensively showed in the outfield and behind the plate, arm action is long, 80 mph from the outfield, 75 mph out of the crouch. Pop times 2.19-2.33. Showed athleticism in the outfield. 7.26 runner in the 60.
1.18.15 - 6-foot, 170-pound athletically built right-handed hitting catcher hits from a tall, open setup, short stride, smooth hand load, hands start high, short, level bat path produced line drives from gap-to-gap, shows power to left-center, 83 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, pop times ranged from 2.07-2.15 down to second base from short, high ¾ arm slot, 72 mph out of the crouch with accuracy. Strysik’s throwing has improved since the July Class of 2017 Top Prospect games, both in carry and quickening his release. Ran a 7.46 60.
7/14/14 - 6-foot, 170-pound muscularly built, physical, right-handed hitting catcher impresses more with the bat currently.  Hits from an open setup with a smooth load back, short stride, and short, slightly uphill bat path producing line drives from gap-to-gap with 82 mph exit velocity.  Consistently barreled baseballs showing power, especially to his pull side during live batting practice.  In games, impressed with a triple crushed to deep left center field, one hopping the wall at Granderson Stadium.  Defensively, threw 2.12-2.25 from long, over the top arm action that lacked carry to the bag.  Ran 4.62 from home to first on a groundout to third during games.

1.19.14 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound catcher. Behind the plate showed solid blocking skills. Arm works long, from a high ¾ slot with some accuracy and solid carry at 70 mph. Pop times were 2.25-2.41. Ran a 7.42 60. At the plate hits from a slightly opened stance with a diving stride. Bat path is long and flat with advanced bat speed for his age. Exit velocity was 77 mph off a tee.
