8.7.15 - 6-foot 2, 200-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Hits from a tall open stance with low hands. Slight load, short stride, with uphill bat path. Ran a 7.36 60 and was 4.69 home to first. Strong, quick twitch, fast hands, stays through the ball. Registered 92 mph exit velocity off the tee. Behind the plate flashed pop times of 2.01-2.05 with a velocity of 78 mph. From the outfield, Shamus works from an over the top arm slot with a long arm action. Showed accuracy and carry on throws. Recorded velocity of 88 mph from the outfield.
2.15.15 - 6-foot-1, 192-pound right-handed hitting C/3B hits from a an athletic setup, low hands, long stride, stays balanced throughout, long, uphill bat path, strength present in swing, 90 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, pop times ranged from 2.01-2.09 to second, 75 mph out of the crouch from short, over-the-top arm slot, high setup in stance, quick feet, gains ground to second. At third base threw 82 mph across the infield from longer, over-the-top arm slot, max effort on throws. Ran a 7.22 60.
10/25/14 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound multi-positional player, athletic build. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, longer stride, lower half works linear, loose hands at setup. Attacks the baseball, line drive approach, well above average bat speed for his age. 91 mph exit velocity from the tee, occasionally lunges. Defensively played from the outfield and caught. As a catcher showed fundamentally sound blocking abilities, arm action is over the top, 74 mph arm strength from the crouch. In the outfield showed good arm strength at 85 mph, shuffles through the baseball and glove pats prior to release. Ran the 60 at 7.47.
3/16/14 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound catcher/third baseman/outfield. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short loading action, longer stride, can get more out of lower half, solid balance. Strong swing, power potential, gets extension, above average bat speed. Defensively works with a short arm action, 81 mph from the outfield, 73 mph across the infield and 68 mph out of the crouch. Posted 2.19-2.45 pop times. 4.44 runner down the line.
2/18/13 - Lanky frame, 5-foot-11, 150-pounds, lacks overall strength, young frame has room to fill out. Hits from a balanced setup, uses short stride, good balance throughout. Bat path is short, some extension, 68 mph exit velocity. Defensively recorded 2.5-2.66 pop times, 67 mph from the crouch, uses high ¾ arm action.
