2/14/16 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound multi-positional player, shows best skill set behind the plate, athletic receiver. 7.13 runner in the 60. Defensively arm plays short and over the top, showed well above average arm strength, 79 mph out of the crouch. Pop times ranged 2.12-2.25, solid actions behind the dish, athletic blocker. On the infield arm played at 78 mph across the diamond. Tends to sits back, fields deep, has the athletic ability to play through more aggressively. Left-handed hitter, open stance, short stride back to even, average balance. Spray type hitter, works off backs side, showed athletic hands and bat speed. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee.
10.18.15 - 5-foot-10, 167-pound catcher/infielder, athletic shape. Left-handed hitter, hits from a slightly open crouched stance, short stride, good balance through contact. Hands work well in swing, can get more out of lower half. Short path, line drive type hitter, oppo contact in BP. 80 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed good arm strength all over the diamond, short over the top arm action, played accurately with carry. On the infield, plays the baseball out in front, quick exchange, showed body control. Behind the plate posted pop times at 2.00-2.08, similar abilities to transfer the baseball. 7.02 runner in the 60.
1.18.15 - Solid build, 5-foot-7, 157-pound switch-hitting catcher. Defensively showed above average catch and throw actions, posted a 2.12-2.18 pop times. Arm action is short, over the top slot, accurate to target, showed carry, worked online well, 74 mph arm strength. Hands showed softness receiving, clean transfers. Offensively hits from both sides, open stance, leg lift trigger from the left side, short minimal stride from the right. Showed similar abilities from both sides, 72 mph exit velocity from the right side, 75 mph exit velocity from the left. 7.42 runner in the 60.
10.26.14 - 5-foot-7, 157-pound switch hitting catcher/middle infielder, natural right-hander, but more fluid swing from the left side. From the left side uses an open stance, short stride, hands load back smoothly, balanced swing, 76 mph exit velocity, pulled the baseball more from the left side. Same approach from the right-side, not as open in stance, short path, line drives from gap-to-gap with 77 mph exit velocity. Defensively, threw 76 mph across the diamond from short, 72 mph from the crouch. Impressed more behind the plate thanks to quick hands on the transfer, pop times ranged from 2.16-2.29 seconds. Flashed a short, high ¾, clean arm slot in the infield with some accuracy, average hands fielding. Ran a 7.46 60.
10/27/13 - Solid build, 5-foot-6, 140-pound left handed hitting two-way player. Showed overall athleticism and good projectability at multiple positions. Behind the plate displayed quick actions, efficient transfer, short over the top arm action, 68 mph out of the crouch. Posted pop times at 2.20-2.36. On the infield showcased soft hands and advanced infield actions for his age. Above average body control with the ability to play on the move. Arm played at 72 mph across the diamond. On the mound worked from a high ¾ slot. Fastball had occasional sink, 72-77 mph. Off-speed pitches are still a work in progress, lacked separation in action.
