10/11/15: A 5-foot-10 210 pound catcher showcased a quick arm and registered pop times between 1.86-2.01.  Velocity from behind the plate was 77mph.  At the plate, he has a balanced setup with good balance.  Bat path is level with extension.  Showcased some pullside pop.  On the mound, Brayden sat 79-82 and touched 83 with the FB.  Fastball has slight run and is thrown for strikes.  Breaking ball was 64-66 with gradual break.  Brayden has a drop and drive delivery with some rhythm and short arm action. 

6/25/15: The 5-foot-10 210 catcher displayed a quick arm behind the plate.  Brayden has a tendency to pop up but gets through his throws.  Pop times were between 1.98-2.03.  Velocity was 76 from the crouch.  Offensively, hits from an open setup,  Hands drop during the load.  Short stride with average bat speed.  Long path to the baseball, pull-side type hitter.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 81 mph. On the mound, his fastball sat 82-83 and thrown for strikes.  Curveball sat 65-68 with gradual break and 11/5 shape.  Knuckleball was 68mph with good movement.  Arm action is quick.   Rhythm is smooth and has some effort.  Brayden ran a 7.93 60 yd dash.

6/9/15:  PITCHING: The 5-foot-10, 210 pound righty sat 82-83, topping out at 84.  CB was 66-67 with 11/5 shape.  His slider has 10/4 shape at 72-74.  Brayden has a high ¾ arm slot with long arm action.  His drop and drive delivery has some rhythm and effort.  Knuckleball was 67-69 with some late movement as well.

5-foot-10, 210 pound receiver sits low in his primary.  Tracks the ball well with soft hands, ability to stick pitches.  Pop times were 2.01-2.12 and was 77 mph from the crouch.  Offensively, hits from an open setup.  Loads back with a short stride.  Showcased a big swing, producing line drives with some gap power.  Tendency to drop his hands during the load.  Recorded a high exit velo of 82 mph.  

2/28/15:  5-foot-10, 200 pound catcher was 2.01-2.05 with his pop times, 74 from the crouch.  Receives the ball deep, but has a quick transfer.  Great arm slot and arm action.  Tendency to come around the ball instead of coming through.  Needs to increase his quickness.  

PITCHING- 5-foot-10, 200 pound righty pitches from a high ¾ slot.  Short arm action, average arm speed.  Delivery is slow and deliberate.  Good line to the plate.  Front side needs improvement. Sat 80-81, touching 82 with his fastball showing hard arm side run.  Breaking ball shows an 11/5 shape with gradual break at 65-67.  Change up is 68-70 from a ¾ slot with short arm action.  Also throws a 63-64 knuckle ball.  

12/15/13: 5-foot-10, 210 pound sophomore shows good footwork  with a quick release behind the plate.  Shows average blocking ability with a good base.  Feet are slow.  Pop times were 2.03-2.18 and was 70 mph from the crouch.  Offensively, starts wide with a big load.  Swing is violent and aggressive.  Makes hard contact with long swing path.  No stride.  Posted an exit velo of 78 mph.
