Fastball was straight at 73-74, touching 75. 10/4 breaking ball has a sweeping action with gradual break at 58-61. Slows his arm down on the 65-66 mph changeup. Change was kept in the zone with occasional sink. Also throws a 65 mph cutter.

6-19-2013 The 6-foot-3 Right handed pitcher shows a repeatable delivery from a ¾ arm angle. The lower half will need to stay more connected as he continues to develop. The arm action is clean and is just lacking arm strength. Look for Freels to make a considerable velocity jump before spring. Currently topping out at 70.
