2017 Spring Scout Blog:  The 6-foot-6, 185 pound uncommitted junior has a highly projectable frame with room to fill in.  Fastball sat 81-83, touching 84.  Fastball has slight run, inconsistent command to his arm side.  Breaking ball has 10/4 shape at 68-71.  Gets around it at times.  Could develop into a plus out pitch with work.  Delivery has some rhythm, choppy at times.  Rush has a 3/4 arm slot with easy effort.  Velocity expected to climb as he matures.

7/27/16: The 6 foot 6 185 pound right handed pitcher showcased a high ¾ arm slot with smooth rhythm in his delivery.  Fastball sat 78-80 with slight run and good command.  Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with late break.  Both pitches mixed in the zone well.  Change-up has slight fade but was erratic.  Will need to fill in his lower half as he matures.

9/21/14: 6-foot-4, 160 pound righty was 67-71 with his fastball and kept it down in the zone.  Pitches from a ¾ slot with easy effort.  Good rhythm and direction in the delivery.  Curveball sat 60-63 while the slider was 58-62.  Slows arm down when throwing off-speed pitches.  Needs to continue to develop his off speed and get stronger.  Defensively was 70 across the diamond.  Raw actions overall, should get better as he matures.  At the plate hits from a balanced setup.  Loads back with a short stride.  Opens up on occasion.  Long swing path, line drive hitter with some stiffness.  Exit velo was 77 mph.
