4/16/15 GAME NOTES: The uncommitted senior got off to a rocky start vs Heritage HS last night, he gave up two runs in the first inning and one in the second to fall behind 3-0 but he settled down and filled up the strike zone with a 80-81 mph fastball that had downhill plain with run, he had outstanding control of his 68-70 mph slider causing Heritage hitters to fly out and ground out as Canterbury defeated #7 ranked Heritage HS 4-3. Curtis is 5-foot-10, 185 pounds with a compact, easy delivery, a  good feel for pitching, very mature on the mound. Once he got into a groove he was lights out.

10/19/13: 5-foot-10, 180 pound junior was up to 79 mph with his fastball with occasional arm side run.  Throws from a high ¾ slot and creates good downward action on his fastball.  Arm action is long and a little stiff.  Breaking ball was 65-66 mph.  Changeup was his best off speed pitch at 69-72 with good sink and kept it down in the zone.
