2/23/13: 6-foot-4, 205 pound junior possesses a strong, athletic frame.  Showcased soft hands with a clean exchange.  Across the infield was 81 mph. Defensive actions are choppy.  At the plate hits from a crouch.  The lower half is inconsistent and hits off his backside.  Possesses good bat speed with some projectable power.   Spins out.

1/27/13: A 6-foot-4, 205 pound prospect with an athletic, strong frame.  From the field his hands are soft, and shows a clean exchange.  At the plate he shows good bat speed, with some projectable power.  His backside is inconsistent , and needs better use of his lower half.

Drew Bellus is a 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect with strong, solid frame. Ran 7.84 60-yard dash. Shows good hands from corner position with solid arm strength (81 mph). Will need more consistent lower half. Right-handed hitter that has some bat speed offensively. Triggers hands from the shoulder. Has power potential. Needs to keep more consistent backside load. Has one hand swing finish.
