2/20/16: 5-foot-10, 160 pounder was 74 from the crouch and produced pop times of 2.1, 2.13 and 2.18.  Quick arm action, good direction.  Possesses some athleticism.  Sticks pitches well.  At the plate hits from a tall, slightly open setup.  Good use of his lower half. Smooth load, short stride. Has some looseness in the swing.  Average bat speed, line drive type hitter.  High exit velocity of 78 mph. 

6/25/15: The 5-foot-10,155 pound catcher ran a 6.98 60 yard dash.  Offensively, Evan hits from a balanced setup.  Loads back, using a short stride.  Overall good approach at the plate. Level path to the baseball, regularly got to extension.  Line drive hitter, registered an exit velocity of 77mph.  From the crouch, Evan’s highest velocity was 72mph.  Pop times were between 2.10-2.19.  Good arm slot and quick feet.  Athletic, solid defender and receiver.  Sticks pitches well.  
9/21/14: 5-foot-10, 145 pound catcher was 2.11-2.22 with his pop times and 70 mph from the crouch.  Possesses a lean, athletic frame with flexibility and the ability to work around the plate.  Receives well with good hands for a 2017.  Projectable catcher if he continues to add strength.  Offensively, the LHH hits from a crouch position and loads back.  Stride is short and displayed good bat speed (80 mph exit velo).  Gets to extension and showed the ability to drive the gaps.  Ran a 7.12 60.
