9/24/16:  The 6-foot-2 170 pound utility player presents a lanky, athletic frame with fluid actions all around.  Defensively, Kahre projects better in the infield.  He has sure hands and plays thru the ball well.  Exchange is clean and a quick release.  Arm action is short from a 3/4 slot.  In the outfield, actions are similar, just looks less comfortable.  Offensively, Kahre hits from an athletic, open setup.  Load is smooth.  Lower half is involved early in the swing.  Bat speed is above average with a long, level path.  Found the barrel consistently.  Showcased feel for the game on the basepaths during the game. 

8/21/16: The 2017 grad infielder ran a 6.9 60yd dash.  Actions were athletic defensively.  Hands are sure.  Offensively, Kahre hits from an open setup with balance.  Swing path is level and produced line drives.  

10/18/15:  6-foot-1, 155 pound MIF ran a 7.00-60 and was 78 across the infield.  Above average defender with sure hands.  Fluid footwork with a clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball.  At the plate hits from an open stance and loads back.  Stride is short and has good balance.  Approach is good.  Short, level path to the baseball with some rhythm.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 82 mph.  

6-foot-1, 155 pounder possesses a lean, athletic frame. Ran a 7.00-60 and was 79 from the OF. Long arm action, ¾ slot.  Plays through the ball.  Average OF actions, projects more in the INF.  At the plate hits from an open stance and loads back.  Stride is short and has good balance.  Approach is good.  Short, level path to the baseball with some rhythm.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 82 mph.  

2/22/15:  6-foot, 150 pounds, ran a 7.32-60.  Long, lean frame.  Average actions in the field with average hands.  Exchange is clean, but slow.  79 across the field from a long arm action.  At the plate hits out of a tall setup.  Loads back, bars the front arm.  Stride is short.  Long path to the ball.  Consistent hard contact.  Recorded a high exit velo of 79 mph. 

PITCHING: 6-foot, 150 pound righty pitches from a long, ¾ arm delivery.  Rushed delivery, shoulders are downhill at launch.  Lands closed, falls off towards 1B side.  Fastball was 73-75 with occasional sink.  11/5 breaking ball sat 62-64, sweeping action, erratic in the zone.  Changeup shows some sink at 68-70 and thrown for a strike.  

1/3/15: 6-foot, 140 pound sophomore has a lanky, athletic frame.  Long arm action across the diamond at 76 mph.  Average feet and hands.   Moves well with a clean exchange.  Ran a 7.35-60.  Offensively, hits from an athletic setup.  Loads back and uses a short stride.  Average use of the lower half and has good balance.  Bat speed is average with a good approach.  Short, level path to the baseballs.  Barrels up a lot of balls.  Overall clean, simple swing.  Needs to continue to add strength.  Registered an exit velo of 74 mph.
