A very interesting arm prospect in the 2019 class. The right-hander has a strong, sturdy frame. Delivery is fluid and requires little effort. Transitions smoothly through leg lift into his drop and drive load. Lands closed at foot strike and arm moves through a near ¾ slot. A crossfire guy that has a clean, loose arm. Physical signs point to more velocity to come with maturity. Presently sits 81-83 mph with the fastball. Works mostly arm side with the pitch that has regular run and sink. Spins two different breaking balls that have similar plane but vary in depth. Curveball has big, early action at 65-67 mph. Slider doesn’t have as much action both is a bit sharper with more depth at 68-69 mph. Showed feel and the ability to command both but would like to see a bigger gap in plane or velocity to give hitters more of a different look between the two. Also showed a changeup that has run and dive to it at 71-72 mph. Commands the pitch well and the offering allows him to be effective against lefties. In general a strike thrower that could play a variety of roles on the mound. Easily could be a matchup guy as he is a very tough look for righties. On the flip side with his low effort delivery, above average changeup and ability to throw strikes he is a candidate to be a starter as well. Definite follow in 2019 class.

6-foot, 215-pound physical prospect. The righty uses a quick tempo through compact delivery. Works form a low ¾ slot with a short arm action. Delivery creates early momentum and requires regular effort. Finishes across his body. He threw his fastball for strikes. The pitch is mostly straight and sits 78-80 mph. He showed us two breaking balls. A curveball with 11/5 shape. The pitch has some bite with a shorter break at 65-68 mph. Also works in a sharp slider at 69-71 mph. He currently shows better feel for the curveball, as he struggle to find consistency with his slider.
