4/15/15 GAME NOTES: Clawson is a projectbale 6-foot-4, 200 pound athlete that possesses pro tools, just needs to put it all together. He has arm strength, runs a sub 7 and has some power at the plate.  Last night he started in centerfield.  During in/out he moved well and showed a strong, accurate arm with carry.  Despite going hit-less and struggling a bit at the plate, he showed good bat speed with some barrel whip and an explosive lower half.

2/21/15: 
A strong, physical 6-foot-4, 200 pounder starts from a balanced approach from the right side of the plate. He shows present power with an uphill path. Showcased an explosive lower half with quick hands to the baseball. Reached a top exit velocity of 91 mph. Possesses pro-tools.  Defensively, showcased sure hands with fluid feet and a clean exchange.  Athletic actions.  Strong accurate arm across the field at 87 mph with carry.  Ran a 6.92-60.

PITCHING:  6-foot-4, 200 pounds, strong, athletic build.  Pitches from a high ¾ slot with a long, quick, loose arm action.  Good line to the plate, landing square.  Fastball sat 85-86, up to 87 with heavy action and occasional sink.  Breaking ball was 68-72 from 10/4 shape with gradual break.  Changeup shows some fade and kept in the zone at 76-79.   

8/4/14:
Athletic 6-foot, 200 pound multi-positional player runs a 6.94 60.  Across the diamond is 82.  Solid actions actions defensively.  Registered an exit velo of 89 mph. On the mound is 84-86 with his fastball.  Slow breaking ball with some depth at 67-70.  75-76 mph changeup.
