2012: Hammond is a 6-foot-3 inch, 150 pound sophomore pitcher. Hammond is a tall, lanky pitcher with long limbs and a high three quarter arm slot. He shows good arm action with a 76-78 mph fastball, 60-61 breaking ball, and a high 60’s changeup. Expect a velocity jump as he adds more strength.
