10/20/13: 5-foot-10, 190 pound senior possess a wide, strong frame.  At the plate possesses good bat speed.  Starts slightly open with a slight leg kick.  Barrels up a lot of baseballs.  Good power with a 88-90 mph exit velo.  All around good swing.  In the OF was 79 mph, projects as a LF.  Clean exchange.  Needs to improve footwork.  Runs better than his frame suggests with a 7.10 60 time. On the mound possesses a long arm swing in the delivery causing his release point to be inconsistent.  Fastball was up to 77 mph.  Flashed an occasional good breaking ball at 69-70 with an 11/5 shape.  Slows his arm speed when throwing his changeup (62-65 mph).  


2/23/13: 5-foot-10, 180 pound junior shows a long arm action and throws over the top at 81 mph with accuracy.  Defensive actions are stiff.  At the plate starts with his hands high and uses a toe tap for timing.  Produces quick bat speed and barrels up most balls.  Recorded an exit velo of 90 mph.

2/25/12:  Logan Beaman is a 5-foot-10 180 pound left handed pitcher from Ritter HS. Beaman showed an advance approach to pitching with good feel. Beeman’s fastball was 76-78 with run. Beaman also showcased an average curve ball at 68-70 and a developing change up at 62-65. All three pitches were thrown for a strike. Beaman will continue to develop more velocity with added strength.

Beaman moved well in the outfield showing good defensive actions with his arm topping out at 72 mph. At the plate he gets his hands through the ball well with some pop to the right side.
