A contact type guy at the plate. Starts tall and open and gets back to even at foot strike. Hands stay simple prior to launch. Path is level and bat has some quickness to it. Worked in a middle away approach during batting practice. Does a nice job of creating angles with his pre fielding footwork in the infield. Glove skills look to be slightly above average at this stage. Remains athletic on plays outside his funnel. Solid defender. On the mound the righty uses a slower tempo to his delivery. In the windup he starts on the right side of the other before sliding to the middle during his windup. Arm action is clean with developing arm speed. Works through a near over the top slot with his fastball sitting 73-75 mph. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that has some sharpness to it at 66-69 mph. Works off his fastball. Gets ahead and then uses his breaking ball as his out pitch.

5-foot-10, 155 pounds with an average right handed pitchers frame. Displays smooth tempo throughout his delivery while throwing through a ¾ arm slot. Using simple, repeatable mechanics that allows him fill up the strike zone consistently. Works both sides of the plate with his 71-74 mph fastball. Breaking ball shows some sharpness in tilt while sitting between 66-69 mph. Also mixes in a 66-67 mph changeup. Showed off quick footwork in the infield. Fields the ball deep on plays in his funnel. Did a nice job of adjusting footwork to get the right hop on the move. Skill set translate to third base at the next level.
