6/30/14: 6-foot-3, 190 pounder possesses  a strong, athletic frame.  Ran a 7.68 60 and was 74 across the diamond while using a long arm action.  Hands are soft.  Needs to improve footwork and quicken his exchange.  Offensively starts open with a smooth load.  Stride is short and gets good use of his lower half.  Bat speed is above average.  Gets to extension producing some gap to gap power.

9/15/13: 6-foot-2, 190 pound sophomore was 74 across the diamond.  Projectable frame for a 2016.  Hands are average and shows choppy feet.  Projects more of a 3B than a 1B.  Choppy load at the plate with a smooth swing.  Feet get wide.  Swing plane is up hill with some projectable power. On the mound  throws over the top with a long arm circle.  Mechanically raw.  Tops out at 76 mph with his fastball.  Projects more as a hitter.
