The 6-foot-3 inch righty sat at 83-86 at the Muncie event, but was as high as 88 mph at the Goshen event a few weeks prior. He continues to show a long athletic arm that works at a quick pace. At times he flashes a good breaking ball and is a must follow this spring. Huxford also shows great work ethic in the classroom, and is a high grades prospect. As a 6 foot-4 inch, 182lb right handed pitcher, Huxford has officially positioned himself as one of the top arms in the state of Indiana. With a long, loose, and quick arm, Huxford is consistently 86-88 mph. His delivery shows a lot of athleticism, and will show his hip pocket to the hitter allowing him to hide the baseball and create some torque. He also demonstrates plus split finger fastball sitting at 74-76 mph, along with a curveball that shows some tilt at 68-69 mph. His frame and arm whip alone make him a high follow.
