2/21/16 - White is a 6-foot-2 172-pound right-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher in Kansas’ 2017 class from Bishop Miege HS.  He ran a 4.47 home to first and has an exit velo of 88 mph. At the plate, open stance, in line stride, hands separate from stride foot, free and loose hands, level path through zone, stays on ball, gap-to-gap approach with power to pull gap.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, loose high three quarters arm action, athletic footwork, hands and feet are in sync, plays through catch. Ideal tall pitcher’s body. Simple vertical knee lift, quick tempo, easy arm, high three-quarters slot. Fastball 79-81 mph. Breaking ball with 1/7 shape, sharp action, 73-75 mph, potential plus pitch. Change-up sinks away from right-hand hitter’s bats, proper shape, has feel for it, 72-73 mph. Projection lefty in the class of 2017 with feel for both off-speed offerings.

8/1/15 - White is a 6-foot-1 170-pound left-handed pitcher.  He worked 78-81 mph, touching 82 mph at the Future Games.  He has clean mechanics and is aggressive getting down the mound.  White showed a 1-to-7 curveball, with tight spin at 69-70 mph and a change-up with arm side sink at 71-72.
1/19/15 - White is a left-handed pitcher from Bishop Miege HS in Roeland Park, KS. Slender 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Class of 2017. Up-tempo delivery with body control, rhythm and flow. Hides ball. High three-quarters slot, arm works. Fastball with arm-side run, also mixed in firm glove side strike, 77-79 mph, 80 tops. Commands sharp 1/7 breaking ball, chance to be a plus pitch, 72-73 mph. Showed a 67-68 mph change up with fastball arm speed, worked below the strike zone, 67-68 mph. Projectable class of 2017 left-hander with a very good breaking ball. Has picked up velocity since the fall.
