2/12/17 - Freeman is a 5-foot-9 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class. He ran a laser timed 7.32 60 and a 4.18 home to first. He has an 80 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced stance, simple and repeatable load, short in line stride, hands control the bat, mostly line drives to the middle of the cage, occasional opposite field gap line drive. In the outfield, 79 mph positional velo, quick catch and throw with momentum through the ball, quick exchange, mostly accurate throws.
10/30/16 - Freeman is a 5-foot-9 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class. He ran a 6.97 60, one of the fastest times of the day, and a 4.09 home to first, one of the top LHH times. He has a 78 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced stance, rocks back to load, smooth, short stride, hit balls flat to both fields during hitting evaluations. In the outfield, 79 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, feet work behind the ball and create momentum through the catch, throws with accuracy. On the mound, Freeman has an over the top release, smooth delivery, throws with some effort, fastball has some sink and late run, 75-78-mph, one of the top left-handed fastball velos of the event, curveball at 63-67 mph, some with depth, 1-to-7 action, change up flashed fade at 63-69 mph.

At the plate, balanced set up, controlled leg kick, smooth weight shift to back side, minimal hand load, pull side line drives during batting practice. In the outfield, 79 mph positional velo, one of the top velos for the event, high three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action, fluid footwork working the transfer in hands, accurate throws.
