6/2/15 - Braedyn is a 5'9 150-pound switch hitting catcher from Manhattan. Receives the ball well and uses a over the top motion, with good feet and quick release, pop times of 2.0 to 2.04 with mostly accurate throws to second base with a top catcher positional velo of 75 mph. Can also move well and run as a catcher posting a 7.34 60/yd and 4.53 home to first. From the right side, uses a slightly open stance and short stride, keeps his hands inside the ball and uses the opposite field with a 81 mph exit velo.

10/19/14 - Woborny is an athletic 5-foot-9, 165-pound switch-hitting catcher. At the plate, from the left side showed a balanced set-up, open stance, inline stride, smooth hand load, short bat path, lower half works, maintains balance throughout and finishes with extension. Simple, repeatable line drive swing. Exit velocity 71 mph. Hitting right-handed has a balanced set-up, open stance, strides slightly open, smooth hand load, hands work, maintains balance throughout, finishes with extension, flattens the ball out in the middle of the field, exit velocity 76 mph. Behind the plate showed quick, simple footwork, short over-the-top throwing motion, 72 mph throwing velocity and pop times in the 2.26-2.31 range. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash and 4.53 home-to-first from the left side.
6/18/14 - Woborny is an athletic-framed 5-foot-9, 160-pound switch-hitting catcher.  During defensive evaluations he showed quick, simple footwork, quick hands and a short over-the-top throwing motion. His throws to second base were timed from 2.00 to 2.15 with his best throw clocked at 70 mph.  At the plate, from both sides he showed an athletic set-up, open stance, smooth hand load and short inline stride.  From the right side he showed a simple middle-oppo approach.  He appears to be a natural left-hand hitter showing loose hands, balance throughout and extension from the left side – an advanced gap-to-gap approach with the potential to be an upper level hitter as he gains size and strength. His hitting exit velocity was clocked as high as 77 mph.  He ran a 4.68 home-to-1B time from the right side.  In the games Woborny went 2-for-4.  They say switch-hitting catchers are worth their weight in gold and watching Woborny hit this might very well be the case with him as he matures.  He will be ranked among the top 2017 prospects when these rankings are posted later this summer.
