2/12/17 - Ostronic is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran an 8.33 laser timed 60 and a 5.10 home to first.  He has an 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced set up with slight rhythm, smooth load, mostly middle of the field contact, level path, showed some power to middle of the field.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.19 and 2.25-seconds, 70 mph positional velo, over the top release, durable build, gives low target, fluid transfer with fluid footwork, accurate throws.

10/30/16 - Ostronic is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 8.33 60 and a 4.90 home to first.  He has an 80 mph exit velo. At the plate, athletic stance, short stride, smooth load with little hand movement, swing produced middle to opposite field line drives.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.23 and 2.38-seconds, 68 mph positional velo, over the top release, long arm circle, momentum through the catch, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws. On the infield, 70 mph exit velo, over the top release, fluid actions with clean exchange, accurate throws.

5/31/16 - Ostronic is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 8.50 60 and got down the line in 5.15-seconds.  He has an 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, thin stance, slightly open, middle to pull line drives, some power to pull side, level bat path.  Behind the plate, 2.26 to 2.42 pop times, 67 mph positional velo, over the top release, clean transfer, fluid footwork, accurate throws to the bag at second.
